By popular request, here is the Sticky Chicken recipe from our Ward Relief Society Christmas Dinner! Thanks to all who came and to those who put it together. It was a very fun night!

Sticky Chicken

8 chicken thighs, bone-in
1/2 c oil
1 garlic clove
1/2 tsp grated Ginger
3/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium is best)
1/4 c water5 Tbsp. Sugar

Skin chicken. Combine all sauce ingred in large skillet. Lay chicken in pan and bring to boil over medium. Cook 15-20 min on each side. Done when sauce starts to caramelize. Serve with rice!

Ward Christmas Party

This Saturday, December 3rd at 6pm is our Annual Prairie 13th Ward Christmas Party. The Sunday School and Relief Society have partnered up this year to bring you "Christmas Through a Child's Eyes." We will have dinner followed by a short program including a video. Hopefully we will have a visit from You-Know-Who, who may even take Christmas gift requests from the kids and give out a surprise! Hope to see ALL our ward members there!

Ward Day of Service

There will be no Relief Society weekday activity on November 8th. Instead, we encourage you to take part in the Ward Day of Service this Saturday, November 12th. Watch for signups to go around Sunday, November 6th or contact any presidency member for more information.

May Weekday Activity

CAKE DECORATING!

Come and get your creative juices flowing this Tuesday, May 10th at 7pm. We will learn the basics of cake decorating from a professional. Bring an 8 in round cake if you can. If you can't bring a cake, come anyway and one will be provided for you!

We would like to congratulate the Tullis family on their newest addition! Jace Garrett Tullis was born March 28th and weighed 8lbs 7oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. We wish you the best!
